We are governed by a board of elders. This team meets monthly to prayerfully determine the direction of the church, as well as to make decisions relating to church budget, church governance, mission oversight, etc. Visit our staff page to learn more about our elders. Our day-to-day activities are carried out by our Ministry Team. This team consists of paid staff and also volunteer leaders who oversee different ministry areas. The Ministry Team meets monthly to evaluate, plan, and implement all of our current ministry programs and initiatives.

Overall, what’s the best way to stay in the know about the happenings at COMMONWAY church?

We strive to keep you connected and involved to everything that is going on at Commonway and provide several avenues for you to do so. Our website is our main source of communication for all of our activities and is updated on a regular basis. Additionally, we are very active across Facebook and Twitter. Lastly, if you prefer regular email updates, you can subscribe to receive Commonway’s e-newsletter here.

Are you looking for a permanent building?

We are not currently actively looking for a permanent building. While we have not necessarily sensed God calling us to rented facilities as our long-term approach to ministry, we do believe renting is what we should be doing for this season. We continue to remain open and prayerful, seeking God’s direction and provision in this matter.

What is COMMONWAY's approach to missions/outreach as it relates to its budget?

We set aside at least 10% of every offering to go toward local and global outreach. We support a number of local ministries that currently include Christian Ministries, First Choice for Women, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In addition, we have an ongoing partnership with Food for the Hungry in Nicaragua. We also support various full-time vocational missionaries involved in making disciples around the world.
