When it comes to busy schedules, we don’t want church to be another obligation to meet, a calendar to manage, or burden to bear. We value authentic relationships and shared grace (among other things) because they give us the freedom to build a life of meaning and purpose, not obligations and busyness. We also know that through the context of healthy relationships and community, God can give us a sense of peace, rest, and renewal that isn’t easy to find anywhere else. It’s a bit of a balancing act.

We’re really excited about what’s happening at Commonway in the coming weeks and months. We’ll make space for you to get connected to a small group, put your cooking skills to the test at our 4th Annual Chili Bowl, be refreshed through a special night of worship, and much more. We’d love for you to be a part of any or all of it, so you can be renewed and encouraged (1 Thess. 5:11) more than anything else.

From Sunday: if I truly believed God loves me, and that I can bring him pleasure, how would my life look different?
