Jesus on the Margins
Jesus shattered lots of assumptions and the "way things were" during the time he was in the flesh. He also spent time, cherished, and broke bread with people on the margin - outcasts that most wouldn't give a first look to, let alone a second look at. By his action and word, Jesus makes it very clear that the hierarchy and "status level" in heaven is very different than it is on Earth - and that everyone, not just those with wealth, influence, or heritage - is a child of God's, despite how different they might be from us.
