Whether you are a stay-at-home mom, a single college student, or investing in your career, we invite all of the women at Commonway to check out three great opportunities available this fall. These three groups are a chance to slow down, develop relationships, and seek Jesus along side other women who want to encourage you and be encouraged by you.

Mommy and Me – This group for mothers of young children meets at High Street UMC with Gabrielle Replogle leading a group study once a month on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am.  A 6-week study on the book Organic God began on September 9th.  Childcare is provided.  Contact Gabriele for more information at: gabriele.replogle@gmail.com

Breathe – A 6-week DVD and book study Breathe by Priscilla Shirer will take place on Thursday evenings at the Innovation Connector from 6:30-8:00pm led by Lisa Davis beginning September 24th.  Cost for the book is $10. Contact Cindy Davis to sign up for this group at:  Cindy.davis@wildavis.com

Excerpt from the book Breathe:  “We need some breathing room. With a jam-packed life, what’s missing is space – space for God to speak, room for you to hear. It’s time to set aside the activities and busyness that swallows up rest and peace.  It’s time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God.  This study will help us discover Sabbath margin – the boundary God enables us to put around things we enjoy so that we never become slaves again.”

Twelve Women of the Bible: Life-Changing Stories for Women of Today – This group will meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30-11:30am at First Choice for Women beginning September 29th.  Cost of the book is $11. Each session is a self-contained lesson focused on one woman of the Bible.  The first six weeks will focus on six Old Testament women and the second six weeks (beginning in January) will cover six New Testament women.  Contact Debbie Fuller to sign up for this group at:  djfuller98@gmail.com

“This fresh look at the women in the Bible helps women discover new insights and provides powerful witness to God’s gracious love that will leave you feeling challenged, encouraged, and deeply valued.”
