Finishing Well

The Life of Moses

Throughout our exploration of the life of Moses, there's a sense the arc of his story is leading to a dramatic conclusion. Spoiler alert: it doesn't. While this seems like a letdown, he actually arrives at something greater: the realization that the presence of God and a desire for his will to be done in your life is the greatest gift and journey we could be given.

From Series: "The Life of Moses"

There is perhaps no figure in the Old Testament as well known as Moses. Even most who don't share the Christian faith are familiar with his story. But what many don't realize about Moses is that, like all of us, saying 'yes' to what God was calling him to was never easy. It was filled with doubt, both in the tasks God laid before him as well as whether he was qualified to carry them out. Above all, what we'll learn in examining the life of Moses is not so much about the 'what' God calls us to, but rather why trusting the 'who' is doing the calling...is what we're called to do.
