It's easy to think of church as your weekly "inspiration" for your faith. We don't go as far as calling it entertainment, but if we're honest we very much expect and judge church services based on the quality of the message or the talent of a worship band. But here's the thing: while we may have expectations on what church should be, Jesus in turn has expectations about who we should be that are way more significant. Once we know what those are, all of a sudden Jesus' original intention for what 'church' should be becomes clear.
