Order of Worship
Welcome to Summer Chapel – a guided experience to help you practice the presence of God through silence, reflection, and prayer.
Please begin with reflecting on the image and prayers below. We will spend about 5-8 minutes in silence with this practice and then I will move us along to what’s next.
OPENING PRAYER AND WELCOME
THE LORD’S PRAYER – Matthew 6:9-13 – prayer experience led by Mary Kaminsky
We will be guided through the prayer line by line, spending some time meditating on the text.
THE FATHER’S CHARACTER
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name
THE FATHER’S KINGDOM
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven
THE FATHER’S PROVISION
Give us today our daily bread.
THE FATHER’S FORGIVENESS
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
THE FATHER’S GUIDANCE
And let us not fall into temptation,
THE FATHER’S PROTECTION
but deliver us from evil.
Doxology – For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen
